How We Calculate Wastage

Our calculator automatically includes the appropriate wastage allowance in your order.

  • 10% Wastage is applied for standard room layouts and straightforward installations. This is the UK industry standard.
  • 15% Wastage is applied for more complex spaces, such as multiple rooms, hallways, patterned layouts (including herringbone), or areas with lots of angles and obstacles.

You don’t need to select or calculate anything — the system adjusts this for you based on your requirements.
