Floor street Warranty

Choosing a new floor is an investment, and we believe it should come with complete confidence. That’s why all Floor Street products are backed by comprehensive manufacturer warranties designed to protect against structural and manufacturing defects.

Below, you’ll find the details of coverage, terms, and how to make a claim if you ever need to.

Flooring Warranty

Flooring Warranty

All our flooring products come with a manufacturer’s warranty ranging from 10 to 25 years. The specific warranty period for each product can be found on the product page.

Please note that the warranty is provided by the manufacturer, not Floor Street, as they are the producers of the flooring. In the unlikely event that you need to make a claim, we will assist you throughout the process, ensuring that your best interests are taken into account.

STAIR RUNNER WARRANTY

STAIR RUNNER WARRANTY

Our stair runners come with a lifetime warranty from Floor Street, covering any manufacturing defects. However, this warranty does not cover:

Wear and tear, stains and dirt, or rips and scuffs

It only applies to faults arising from the manufacturing process. If you encounter any issues, we are happy to assist in resolving them.

The process

To process a warranty claim, an independent inspection is required to determine whether the fault lies with the product. Here are some key points to keep in mind:

  • The cost of the inspection is your responsibility until it is confirmed that the fault is due to a manufacturing defect. If the product is found to be faulty, the supplier will reimburse you for the full inspection cost, and we will offer a refund or replacement.

  • Without an independent inspection, a warranty claim cannot be processed.

IMPORTANT FACTORS TO CONSIDER BEFORE MAKING A CLAIM:

  • Installation Conditions: Was the product installed correctly and as per the manufacturer's guidelines?
  • Moisture Barrier: Was a moisture barrier used where required?
  • Subfloor Preparation: Was the subfloor fully dry before installation?
  • Cleaning Methods: Have any liquids been used to clean the floor? If so, what type?
  • Room Conditions: Were humidity levels maintained as per manufacturer recommendations?
  • Gapping & Expansion: Has the product been allowed the necessary expansion space?
  • Pre-Installation Damage: Could the product have been damaged before installation?
  • Installation Materials: Was the manufacturer’s recommended adhesive, underlay, and accessories used?
  • Installer Credentials: Who installed the floor? Was it a professional installer following manufacturer guidelines?

In most cases, we will work with you to resolve the issue before escalating it to the supplier. However, please remember that the flooring warranty is from the manufacturer and not from Floor Street.
