How do I know if a 7-metre stair runner is enough?
Our 7-metre runners are designed to suit most UK homes and typically cover up to 14 steps, depending on the staircase measurements.
For example, 14 steps with a 25cm tread depth and 25cm riser height total 7 metres before allowing for nosings and fitting. Measure along the route the runner will follow and have your fitter confirm the length needed, including any turns or landings.

Can I order a stair runner in a bespoke width?
Contact us on WhatsApp or email help@floorstreet.co.uk with your staircase measurements and the runner you’re interested in. We’ll discuss the available options, provide a quote and confirm availability.
How long does a stair runner take to arrive?
Standard stair runners are available for next-day delivery on eligible orders placed before 12pm. Custom-made runners can take weeks, depending on the requirements. Contact us before ordering so we can confirm the expected timeframe.
Can you make a stair runner for winding or curved stairs?
Yes—we can make custom stair runners for winding or curved staircases. Contact us on WhatsApp or email help@floorstreet.co.uk with photos of your staircase and any measurements you have so we can discuss the options, provide a quote and confirm availability.
What comes with my stair runner?
Your stair runner is supplied on its own. Installation kits and other accessories are available to buy separately.

Do you offer a fitting service?
We can help you find an independent local fitter through our Fitter Recommendation Service.
Enter your postcode to check availability, then tell us about your project so we can help arrange a quote. Coverage is currently available in selected areas of England and Wales.
A 10% booking fee is paid to Floor Street to secure your fitter. The remaining fitting balance is paid directly to the independent fitter. The fitting work and installation guarantee are provided by that fitter.
What warranty comes with my flooring or stair runner?
Our flooring comes with a manufacturer’s warranty of 10–25 years, depending on the product. Check the product page for the warranty period.
Our stair runners have a lifetime Floor Street warranty covering manufacturing defects. This excludes everyday wear and tear, stains, dirt, rips and scuffs.
