"Ordered a pack of this just to get the real feel and it looks fantastic. We will be placing order for 3 rooms and hallway within next 2 weeks. We can’t wait to see the area floored and will be forwarding photos soon"

Q&A

What should be the humidity of the self levelling subfloor to which the floor will be glued?
The subfloor moisture level must be no greater than 75% relative humidity (RH) before your engineered floor is installed. This needs to be measured with a calibrated hygrometer — a surface scratch test is not sufficient. We'd recommend testing in multiple spots across the room, as moisture can vary. A few other things worth knowing for a self-levelling subfloor: If the self-leveller is anhydrite/calcium sulphate based, it must be sanded and primed before the adhesive is applied — this is essential for proper bonding If moisture readings come back above 75% RH, a liquid-applied epoxy DPM (damp proof membrane) will need to be applied over the self-leveller before laying The self-leveller should be fully cured before testing — depending on thickness this can take several weeks The room should be at a stable temperature of 18–22°C and the boards should be left to acclimatise in the room for at least 48 hours before installation begins
