How much flooring to order
Measure the length and width of each room in metres and multiply them to get the floor area in m². For L-shaped rooms, split the room into rectangles and add them together.
Then add extra for cutting and waste: about 10% for straight-laid planks and around 15% for herringbone or diagonal layouts. For example, a 4m by 5m room is 20m², so order about 22m² of plank flooring or 23m² of herringbone.
Before you order
- Order samples now. Colours vary between screens, so check the floor in your own light.
- Check underlay and accessories. Each product page lists the underlay, trims and profiles that suit it.
- Pick your delivery date. Choose a date at checkout that suits your fitter.
- Let the floor settle. Many floors need to sit in the room before fitting. Check the fitting instructions for your floor.
Delivery and returns during the sale

Choose your delivery date at checkout. Standard delivery is available from three working days to UK mainland addresses. Delivery charges depend on order size and service — free delivery may apply over qualifying thresholds. Check the last order date for delivery before Christmas at checkout.
Returns
You can return unopened packs within 30 days. Sale items follow the same returns policy as full-price items.
